Setting up the Document

  1. Click File > New to create a new document. This will open the Document Setup dialog box:



  2. Here you will be able to name file, set up the correct page size, and orientation for document.
  3. When entered all of document settings for example as above, click OK. The result as below:

Gradient Background

1.       To make gradient background, first set foreground and background color by clicking this icon, 
2.       Select Gradient Tool
3.       Choose option whether Linear Gradient\ Radial Gradient\ Angle Gradient\ Reflected Gradient\ Diamond Gradient:

Click to open Gradient Picker, choose Foreground to Background:
5.       Drag cursor from top to bottom as below:
6.       The result:


Remember to save your work often. Saving frequently lessens the risk of losing the work you have been doing. To save Photoshop document, do as below:
  1.  Click File > Save. 
  2. Navigate to the place you would like your document to be saved by using the dropdown menu and the navigation window.
  3.  Enter the name of your document in the Save As text field.
  4. Choose a format to save your project in from the Format dropdown menu.
  5.  Click the Save button in the bottom right corner of the dialogue box.
 Check to make sure that your document is saved in the place you intended.

NOTE: If you save your file as PSD (default Photoshop saving format) your layers will be preserved, but the file size will be large. If you save your file as JPEG (a common image format) your layers will be flattened and become one layer. The file size though will be significantly smaller.

Remove Acne - tutorial photoshop cs3


  1. Click Start > All Programs > Adobe Design Premium CS3, or click on the shortcut on the desktop.
  2. Open picture to remove acne.


  3. Create a new layer by clicking on the New Layer icon.
  4. Rename the New Layer by double-click or right-click > Layer Properties.




  5. Select the Spot Healing Brush Tool from the Tools palette. If one of the other tools is showing in place of the Spot Healing Brush, right-click on the tool, then select the Spot Healing Brush from the menu:


  6. Select The “Sample All Layers” Option in the Options Bar along the top of the screen:


  7. Click On The Problem Spots To Heal Them




  8. The result:
